If you've found yourself feeling older, wiser but less visible on reaching your middle-aged years, this event is for you. Journalists Lorraine Candy and Trish Halpin, hosts of the Postcards from Midlife podcast, are bringing their listeners (and newcomers!) under one roof for Postcards from Midlife Live. The event brings together remarkable women, famous in their fields, to discuss everything from health and relationships to beauty, fitness and finance. TV personality Ruby Wax, fashion designer Pearl Lowe, author Jane Fallon and Dr Rupy Aujla among those headlining the diverse event, which is taking place at the Business Design Centre on 19 and 20 May.

Over 70 speakers are coming to share their thoughts at the two-day event, with highlights including Wax hosting a 'midlife masterclass' on the main stage; Fallon delivering an inspiring talk on 'dating and divorce'; and appearances from actress Sadie Frost and chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver.

Beyond the talks, there are all sorts of workshops visitors can get involved with, including a session on journaling with Lucy Baker; writing your own pleasure prescription with sex-expert Ruth Ramsay; tips for creating authentic, happy spaces in your home with designer Pearl Lowe; and a hands-on class in Japanese sashiko repair and knitwear darning with cottage-chic brand TOAST.
