Featuring panel talks, self-care stations, alternative medicines and fitness classes, the immersive event – taking place on 28 and 29 June – is the physical embodiment of everything Goop stands for. The event, which costs £1,000 to attend and is taking place at Re:Centre in Hammersmith, follows a similar form to that of its sister summits across the pond.
Gwyneth Paltrow launched Goop in 2008 as an online newsletter
Paltrow’s In Goop Health summits – described on the website as ‘a mind-body-soul reset’ – have been revitalising LA’s elite wellness crowd since 2017, and are now held in other US cities and in Canada, too.
The LA summit, which is being held on 18 May this year, costs $1,000 to attend. The line-up includes panel talks from guest speakers (including author Elizabeth Gilbert and actress-turned-entrepreneur Jessica Alba); on-the-day studio treatments; access to the self-care stations; food and drink throughout the day; and, of course, a Goop-filled goodie bag. Meanwhile, for $4,500, attendees can combine the summit with a two-night stay at luxe Santa Monica hotel Shutters on the Beach.
The London summit comes less than a year after a Goop pop-up shop opened in Notting Hill, bringing the brand back to London – where it was first conceptualised – to coincide with its 10th anniversary. The Goop shop ran as a pop-up from September 2018 to January 2019 before finding a permanent home at 188 Westbourne Grove, giving Londoners a chance to shop Paltrow’s vegan, gluten-free beauty line in person.
If you're keen to immerse yourself further into the Goop way of life, London’s In Goop Health wellness summit is a chance to see Paltrow’s modern lifestyle brand in action. Quartz bottles, vaginal eggs and positive energy at the ready…
