Tolkien remains one of the most popular authors in the world. Best known for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogy, his books contain entire worlds of his own creation; including geography, history, and language. Widely regarded as the father of modern fantasy, Tolkien is to thank for everything from Game of Thrones to Harry Potter.
Discover Children's Story Centre will celebrate the legacy of this vital writer in March. Since Tolkien's storytelling transcends age, the events are appropriate for all ages – but these events do have a limited capacity, so pre-booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
