The Museum of London is hosting a special interactive storytelling session this May half-term about the divine adventures of the hammer-wielding big-head. Gather round, Viking-style, to hear how Thor schemed to disguise himself as a bride to reclaim his stolen axe. Sadly Chris Hemsworth, Thor in the Marvel cinematic universe, will not be reprising his role for this storytelling session – but thrills and feats abound nevertheless, a gripping saga inspired by the Viking battleaxe collection currently on display at the museum.
In Old English, 'Thursday' was originally 'Thor's Day'. Take the whole family out for a special Thors Day this May half-term. Each story is around 30 minutes long.
