Follow Wilson’s own childhood through original notebooks, school reports and beloved childhood toys., dotted with extracts and illustrations, many by Nick Sharratt, from her blockbuster books, such as The Story of Tracey Beaker and Hetty Feather.
Fans will have the chance to discover the planning process behind their favourite tales, wonder around a recreation of Jacqueline’s childhood bedroom, and take a peep at her personal diaries. Having sold more than 35 million books in the UK alone, Jacqueline Wilson shows an ability to capture children’s imaginations. This exhibition offers the chance for young bookworms to connect with their favourite writer and learn about the world behind the stories.
