South London Gallery is hosting their first ever Children’s Book Fair in the gallery’s Clore Studio this winter, showcasing a diversity of children's publishers and bursting with kids events for London's literary little-ones.
Young ones call explore stall upon stall of exciting new book releases for children, featuring the best reads from some of the best children’s publishers, including big names: Gecko Press, Pushkin Press, Tate Publishing and Tiny Owl.
Free, drop in activities are available, including book reading with artist Adam room berg from his latest book Humans and Other Animals, A-Z in sign language accompanied by a sign language interpreter and book reading with illustrator and author Frann Preston-Gannon from her publication The Journey Home will help get kids engaged with reading.
More creative kiddies have a choice of artist lead workshops, including an afternoon with artists Charlene Man and Jason Ford based on their activity books, or arts and crafts workshop with illustrator and designer Maggie LI based on her new book The Amazing Human Body Detectives.
