The Planetarium is, and always has been, one of the most exciting days out for kids in London. There are two big shows running throughout the day at the Planetarium this half term, and indeed the rest of year. They are guaranteed to book up during half term, so reserve your tickets now!
For adults and older children there’s Undiscovered Worlds, a show that reaches as far as humans so far can into the worlds beyond our solar system. This virtual tour of the exoplanets looks in fascinating detail at what devices such as the Kepler Telescope have been able to uncover about the atmospheres, compositions and potential for life on these mysterious far-flung worlds. Perfect for any adults and children 7+ with an appetite for wonder.
Space Safari, aimed at the under-7s, is a cleverly designed live tour through the solar system with music, rhyme, interactive parts and a loveable guide in the form of Ted the Teddy Bear. Join him in his mission to seek out the Great Bear in the sky!
