Shaun the Sheep at Kew Gardens
In celebration of new Shaun the Sheep film, Kew Gardens has welcomed the baaaaaadly behaved sheep and his flock to share in the Easter fun.
On April 5, join Shaun for an Easter egg hunt, in which children collect tokens hidden in around the gardens to earn themselves a Divine chocolate Easter egg. Some real life sheep - Kew’s ewes - all the way from Sussex, will be keeping watch alongside the Brentford river.
Throughout the holiday, children can be booked in for the daily Bean to Baa chocolate workshops, where kids learn all about the chocolate making process. Shaun and his friends will be in the marquee and outside arena for ‘welly wanging’, a traditional countryside pursuit where the aim is to knock the heads of scarecrow farmers with tiny wellington boots.
Excitement can also be found in the sheep hopper maze, or with the finely tuned vegetable orchestra and best of all with Timmy on Timmy's springtime trail, in which Timmy the lamb leads a trail to look at colourful spring flowers around Kew. Don't forget to get your face painted!
Great fun for young children - and all lovers of Shaun the Sheep.
