Disney's West End shows The Lion King, Aladdin, Mary Poppins and the eagerly anticipated Frozen - opening on the London stage in autumn 2020 - are joining forces for a pop-up experience sure to delight fans of all ages.
The pop-up, from Disney Theatrical Productions, is back after a blockbuster pop-up last year with nearly 50,000 attendees, and showcases four Disney musicals through various free immersive experiences and events. Since we're on the subject, have you tried your luck to see if you can score tix to any through Kids' Week or using one of these cheap ways to get kids' tickets to London theatre?
From getting up close and personal with the masks, puppets and costumes and checking out the Circle of Life 360-degree Lenovo Mirage Solo VR experience from the Tony-Award winning The Lion King (which celebrates its 20th anniversary at the London Lyceum Theatre this year) to enjoying a Frozen-themed photo moment, Disney musical fans will find plenty to discover, including Aladdin's magic lamp and a Mary-Poppins themed kite-making workshop and spelling challenge. How do you spellsupercalifragilisticexpialidocious again?
There are plenty of free events, including performances and meet-and-greets with cast members of The Lion King and Aladdin, as well as voice and movement workshops and there's an on-site shop to stock up on merch and buy tickets for upcoming performances of the shows.
The pop-up opens at 21 Long Acre, Covent Garden, WC2E 9LD daily (Monday – Saturday 10:30am - 7:00pm and Sunday at 11:00am - 5:00pm).
