Fenster, Birthdays

Fenster is the embodiment of deconstructed, dark, dreamy pop and electro-acoustic sounds. Known for their intricately crafted narratives inspired by ghosts and graveyards, the group play on post-apocalyptic folklore, combining their quirky and eccentric Berlin influences with their New York roots.

Two records down the line, Fenster retain their atmospheric folk subtleties. Their debut album Bones concentrated on Americana and road-inspired lyrical numbers, but this year's The Pink Caves is more melodically focused, as rockier riffs and experimental musicality blossom throughout.
