French singer Patrick Bruel brings his unmistakable sound to The Royal Albert Hall this September.
Patrick Bruel is a man of many talents; not only has he enjoyed an illustrious acting career, but he’s also a world-class poker player. However, it’s for his music that he’s best known. He first achieved success with the 1984 single ‘Marre De Cette Nana-Là’, but it was his 1989 single ‘Casser La Voix’ which transformed him into an international superstar and heartthrob.
Since then, his music has taken a number of interesting turns. On his 1994 album, Bruel III , Patrick abandoned his characteristic ballads in favour of a more rock ’n’ roll sound. Later, in 2002, he released Entre Deux which marked a return to the traditional French chanson, and saw him singing alongside Charles Aznavour. His performance at The Royal Albert Hall this September is to be a showcase of this career, and a chance to hear one of France’s most distinctive voices.
