November is peak restaurant opening month in London, here are picks of the tastiest, the most creative and likely to be most talked about.

The Good Egg, Soho, London

The most exciting Soho opening this winter will be The Good Egg. After more than two years feeding Jerusalem-style brunches all day long to the lucky folk of Stoke Newington, the Good Egg crew are ready to bring their morning-minded Middle Eastern to Kingly Court.

Handmade pasta restaurants are definitely having a moment. Who hasn’t queued for Padella in Borough? So we’re really keen to see how River Café trained chef Stevie Parle approaches pasta at Carnaby’s Pastaio, his sixth restaurant in the capital, as we already know how much he loves Italian food.

We can barely believe the audacious speed with which 108 Garage duo chef Chris Denney and Luca Longobardi (the money man) are expanding. The converted garage has proven such a huge hit that the same chef-owner duo are opening a three storey Victorian pub less than a year later,

Much travelled Yuma Hashemi opens his first London restaurant, the most quirky arrival of the month. The Drunken Butler will be French themed, with a Persian and Korean edge and plenty of preserving and fermenting.
