It's all about juxtapositions at Heads and Tails, Will Partridge (Wax Jambu and Kilburn Ironworks) and Chris Dennis's (Brixton’s gone-but-not-forgotten Sovereign Loss and Disrepute) West Hampstead bar. The venue is split over two levels, with ground-floor bar Heads flooded with natural light and serving light, refreshing concoctions. Basement bar Tails, meanwhile, is dark and moody – fitting for its menu of short, heady drinks. Our advice? Stay up top if you're abstaining. The bar pays almost as much attention to its alcohol-free tipples as its regular cocktails, serving something to please all palates.
