Design collective Luna & Curious have collaborated with The Sanderson Hotel to create the quirky crockery for their bespoke Afternoon Tea. With menus hidden in vintage books and napkins wrapped with riddles the experience is the ultimate in unique meets chic.
Teapots are adorned with kings and queens and sandwich plates feature zebras, birdcages, carousels and ticking clocks. Their menu, too, encompasses the theme, featuring all the normal Afternoon Tea fare as well as offerings of the slightly more unusual variety. From ‘strawberries and cream’ homemade marshmallow mushrooms to a ‘Tick Tock’ traditional Victoria sponge clock this is an experience to liven up the stiffness of a quintessentially British Afternoon Tea.
On Mother's Day the Hotel are pulling out the stops with a glass of champagne (or pink champagne if you're feeling extravagant) to accompany the eclectic range of patisserie delights.
