Pop-up trading group KERB has spent the past few years establishing itself as the byword for street food in London. Their events, which take place all over the city, have now found a new home for the winter - the KERB Clubhouse in Hackney Wick. The Clubhouse promises to bring all London’s finest street food traders together under one roof, which means you need not wait until next year, nor brave the icy elements, to enjoy some of their delicious dishes.
If you’re looking to try something new, we suggest keeping an eye out for Crabbieshack’s battered soft-shell crab burgers, and Kimchinary’s Korean burritos with slow-braised bulgogi. For afters, there’s You Doughnut’s wonderfully fluffy little doughnut bites. Each serving comes topped with indulgent extras like salted caramel and butterscotch sauce, or toasted pecans and almond crunch.
Offering a slice of summery fun to hungry Londoners, KERB’s new Clubhouse seems like a surefire way to chase away those winter blues.
Christmas with KERB
Now, KERB has delighted its fans by offering a mouthwatering new pop up Christmas feast, hosted by KERB favourites Capish? and Tongue 'n' Cheek. The two vendors will be joining forces to host an Italian feast at the new Clubhouse, with an eclectic selection of traditional and innovative christmas dishes, including Native Breed porchetta with crackling, 'cottechino' handmade italian sausage and a Turkey and Fontina Polpette.
We're also intrigued by the sides which include brussels sprouts sauteed with smoked guanciale and pecorino, winter greens agrodolce with toasted hazelnuts, and, to finish, a selection of delectable desserts including their 'boozy' zabaglione accompanied by bergamot biscotti. A series of warming christmas treats not to be missed.
