Hosted in their own quirky, flatshare, the fictional flatmates will serve up a delicious Christmas menu, followed by a house party 'to make all of Notting Hill's jingle bells rock.'
This exciting new pop-up opened this autumn in Notting Hill Gate, based around a fantastic idea. 'Have you ever wondered,' the press release asks, 'what you'd get if you moved five completely mismatched flatmates into one house, and threw parties every week?'.
The five 'flatmates' have been throwing regular dinner and drinks parties in the eclectic décor of their cosy home, serving up themed cocktails (the My Name is Earl, featuring Earl Grey-infused gin, sounds enticing) out of all manner of receptacles (eggcups? Teapots?).
This 10th December they will be adding a new dimension to their immersive dining experience with a Christmas themed dinner, with all of the flatmates brining their own favourite Christmas decorations.
On the menu, created by The Wandering Chef will be festive classics including Roast Turkey with Ham Hock and Sage Stuffing, with all the traditional trimmings, as well Honeyed Parsnip, and a warming Giblet Gravy. They also promise mouth-watering festive canapés including Deep Fried Camembert with Truffle Honey, Pear and Candied Walnuts, topped off with Fois Gras, Roast Chicken and Duck Liver Mousse with Quince.
For dessert, there's an intriguing sounding Christmas Pudding Crème Brûlée, Mince Pies with Macerated Winter Fruits and Buttered Brandy, and a delectable Winter Spiced Rum Fudge.
Our five favourite new flatmates will be the perfect companions for a festive Christmas evening.
