How it works
Taking place throughout Brixton Village and Market Row, with a range of pop-up stalls on Windrush Square, too, the festival organisers have worked to ensure you can try as many different cuisines as possible. Each ticket allows you delicious free samples from over twenty venues, and you also get fifteen Brixton pounds to spend in participating venues. Alongside this, there will be secret recipes and exclusive discounts too, making it the perfect opportunity to try something new.
Highlights
We highly recommend sampling some fluffy Char Siu Bao from Atlantic Road’s Courtesan, which offers sultry interiors and a fusion cocktail menu straight out of 1930’s Hong Kong. Just across the road, you can try New Orleans style Cajun cooking at Kaff. Equally unmissable are the Spanish Jamóns at Brindisa, which can be washed down with one of their carefully chosen regional sherries.
Brixton Market
Since its redevelopment several years ago, the Grade-II listed Brixton market has ignited a revolution in the restaurant industry, and launched the careers of some of the city’s best-loved and most original new names in food. The culinary talent concentrated within this vibrant area means we are sure the festival is not one to be missed.
