Michelin-trained chefs welcome you into their Soho home and transport you to an Italian Trattoria with 6 courses of sumptuous food. BYOB.
Stairway to Heaven Kitchen is run by Leonardo Tita and Stefano Fraccaro, both of whom are from the northern Italian region of Mantua. By hosting the supper club in their own home, the duo aim to bring the Italian cuisine and way of dining to London.
You can expect six courses with a donation of £33 and a BYOB policy.
Leonardo and Stefano are both passionate about food, so Stairway to Heaven Kitchen is the ideal place for any foodies who want to share their hobby with like minded people. The atmosphere is relaxed and attempts to recreate the feel of a rural Italian trattoria. Leonardo acts as the host and is masterful in making sure that everyone is happy and taken care of. He is also known for the rather generous glasses of fizz he tends to pour at the beginning of an evening.
Chef Stefano is a disciple of Antonio Carluccio, and his career began in the famous Neal Street Restaurant where Jamie Oliver also started out. For Liguria Lands at Stairway Kitchen he will be drawing inspiration from summers spent in the leafy Italian region of Liguria. Expect Genovan scabeccio, corzetto from Novi Ligure, pansoti from the hillside commune of Recco, and traditional cima di vittelo. No word yet on what Stefano is cooking up for pudding but based on past experience we are sure that it won’t disappoint.
