Looking for the ultimate al fresco summer feast? The hugely popular Forza Win pop-up restaurants have now found a home in Peckham, serving an authentically Italian communal supper.
Pop-up restaurants can be a bit hit and miss. But with Forza Win you know you’re in safe hands. Riding on the success of three years of sell-out runs in various locations across London, Italian pop-up restaurant Forza Win have set up shop in Peckham by converting an old cash and carry. ‘The Dispensa’ (meaning pantry in Italian) invites guests, with complimentary Spritz in hand, to join their communal dinning experience as they’re seated at a table for 70.
The feast will then commence. Expect fresh pasta, three different types of Ginger pig meats cooked over a wood-fire, salad and dessert. But this is no ordinary barbeque. Ginger Pig has good animal husbandry and welfare at the heart of what they do, believing that well looked after livestock will simply taste better on the plate. Forza Dispensa combines this fine British produce with an entirely Italian style of cooking, serving the meat as spiedini – traditional Italian kebabs. Thirsty? Buy beers from their vending machines, or treat yourself to an Italianate cocktail or a glass of wine from their bar.
Forza Dispensa is open Thursday to Saturday and for brunches at weekends. Evening dining tickets must be booked in advance. No pre-booking is required for brunch.
