Grime-dining comes to Wimbledon in the form of this deliciously seasonal pop-up.
Thanks to The Pickled Fork, Wimbledon has been introduced to 'Grime-Dining', an innovative dining experience that combines the best of fine dining with a laid back, relaxing atmosphere, and better still – it comes without the extortionate price tag. The Pickled Fork will take over Aston & Magill every Wednesday evening with a menu carefully created to include fresh, British seasonal produce, due to change monthly.
Guests can expect to pay £30 for three delicious courses. You will be happily greeted with an array of canapés, followed by a choice between two mains. With the June menu freshly in place, we recommend you try the roast wood pigeon, confit leg, with pickled raspberries, chicory root jus, peas, pods and purees, before finishing with the strawberry, goats milk and rapeseed oil cake with fresh strawberries and a strawberry leaf slush puppie. Be sure to wash all of this down with several glasses of wine from the specially selected wine list, designed to complement the menu.
For couples, friends or free spirits looking to find new faces, this is a perfect midweek treat.
