Key venues include Searcys the Gherkin, Searcys St Pancras Champagne Bar, Osteria, Searcys Champagne Bar Westfield, and Urban Coterie and Tonic & Remedy - the duo of restaurants at stylish Shoreditch hotel M by Montcalm.
Events will also run outside of London, at venues in Bath, Birmingham and Oxfordshire celebrating Champagne. London is just the start.
This fifth year of the festival particularly celebrates Champagne's modern relationship with England. The vineyards of Kent and Hampshire are known for their chalky, fertile land, which is perfect for cultivating vines. Though Champagne heralds from North East France, England is becoming an increasingly popular choice, and producers Tattinger and Pommery will both produce on UK soils soon.
National Champagne Week runs until Friday October 7th and for a full list of events, click here. But you'll likely find us at the Kick-Off Party at St Pancras on Saturday; shaking the hangover at Laurent Perrier's Champagne Brunch on Sunday high up the Gherkin; at Louis Roederer's Champagne in the Conservatory event at the Barbican's Conservatory on Wednesday and at the Champagne pairing masterclass with gin producers Sipsmith on Friday.
Out of town? Surely unmissable is the Roman Baths Lanson Champagne Tasting Dinner, a one-time-only exclusive within Bath's well-preserved Roman Baths.
