Despite the industrial severity of the setting (Frank's is on top of a car park rooftop in Peckham), Frank's has its own elegance; sculptures and art installations by Bold Tendencies are scattered about the space, and some of them are designed by the daughter of eminent sculptor Anthony Gormley.
The bar hosts innovative food collaborations all-summer-long, from the on-roof cookery hatch, and we wouldn't miss a portion of their sticky wings for the world . Alongside, a rotation of local craft beers and ales are well-priced, given the prime views, and the list of classic cocktails is locally famous (the rooftop used to be called Frank's Campari bar).
As good by day as it is by night (there's a small section undercover if the weather turns), Frank's is open from 11am at weekends, and welcomes children and dogs before the night turns, so arrive early and spend a whole day sipping on drinks and soaking up the sun.
Franks is only open during the summer months, and will close again toward the end of September 2017.
