Despite the food’s exceptional quality — we’re salivating over the thought of chilled Cornish white crab and the Texel Lamb Loin and Breast — Black Radish aims for a decidedly relaxed feel. From the simple, lowercase typeface on the shopfront to the cushioned benches and book-lined walls, Black Radish feels almost cafe like. This, of course, is purposeful, with their self-proclaimed status as a ‘casual neighbourhood restaurant’. The idea here is to simply enjoy their inventive food without ever feeling that you’ve stepped out of your comfort zone.
*As a small restaurant, with a varied but short menu, it is best to let the restaurant know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.
