After a brief sabbatical, the Crystal Palace Overground Festival is back with an impressive range of diverse and fun (and free, unless otherwise stated) activities for every age group. The festival will showcase the very best theatre, arts, fashion and street food through a wide range of workshops.
We've rounded up some options for the whole family. Read on...
Labyrinth of Lost Stories
Saturday 17 June: drop by from 12:00-14:00. Suitable for ages 6-12.
Spectres have been spotted at the Crystal Palace Park maze. Discover them, find clues and piece together stories from the past to unlock the secrets hidden in the maze in this immersive storytelling experience, brought to you by Fantasy High Street.
DJ Workshop
Saturday 17 June: 15:10. Suitable for ages 9-12.
Grooveschool is a non-profit organisation dedicated to running projects focused on fostering young people's creativity. They'll be taking over the performance tent in the family zone for a special DJ workshop where kids can compile, record, and perform their very own DJ set.
Inkheads
Saturday 17 June: 16:45. Suitable for ages 8-12.
Aspiring writers are invited to join Inkhead for a creative writing workshop. Develop characters (drawn by the in-house illustrator), and plot your own story with a little help from the experts.
