Harry Styles' Gucci Campaign is a gritty British fairytale
Complete with vintage cars, a rooster or two, and fish 'n chips
The new campaign, photographed in a St. Albans fish and chip shop by Glen Luchford, sees the swooner clad in Alessandro Michele's designs while stroking roosters and scruffy-haired lurchers. He orders a hearty helping of battered cod, and then shares it with the animals. A hero if ever we saw one.
There are heritage wool jackets with NY Yankkes patches, gingham dressing gowns worn as coats and a whole lot of pinstripes.
With all it's British grittiness – nostalgic for us, alien for those abroad – we can't help but be sold. It's another successful, shareable brainchild headed up by Michele.
