Gucci collides with Art History for SS18 campaign
In an age where Chanel are launching spaceships on runways and CGI influencers are ruling the roost, Gucci are taking it back to the glory days with quirky re-imaginations of classic artworks. The SS18 campaign features characters clad in the latest collection, set in mythical wonderlands all dreamed up (and then digitally created) by Spanish artist Ignasi Monreal.
Look out for Gucci style recreations of Van Eyck’s Arnolfini Portrait, Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights and Ophelia by John Everett Millais. Watch the official animation here.
