At the Chelsea Flower Show this summer, gardening became a site for the exploration of mental and physical health, as well as the fusion of man-made and nature. Colours spanned rustic to vibrant, and women took the stage in female-led landscapes – it was gardening for the contemporary world.
This time around, early bird offers are available until 31 October, along with advance booking discounts. Again, gardens will reflect our changing society, with the 2020 show featuring innovative design within the Urban Gardens category. New for next year, the category will provide inspiration on metamorphosing your modest postage stamp of grass into a horticultural haven.
Visitors can also expect rainbow shades of flora in the Great Pavilion, as well as numerous shopping and dining opportunities alongside the habitual horticulture.
RHS is the world’s leading gardening charity, and its Chelsea edition is arguably the world’s most prestigious. Leading the way in its innovative horticulture and garden design, it can hardly fail to entice year upon year, and we’re sure the next will be no different.
