They're stepping into Christmas with a selection of beautiful place settings, decorations and gifts, all with quality materials and standout design, featuring Raf Simons and Fritz Hansen.
The folklorish Christmas decorations launch in October with delicate crochet snowflakes returning as well as the traditional Dala horse (painted wooden horse decoration) and brushed brass ornaments.
We love the return of the Yule Goat and the Tomtes to the Skandium Christmas. They are both traditional parts of Scandinavium folklore. A popular prank is to try and sneak your Yule goat into your neighbours house without them noticing. This will be harder this year: Skandium have a very large version of the straw goat in the collection, as well as a large version of their popular Tomtes: little bearded creatures, made from the softest wool.
Ever-popular Marimekko always produce lovely tablewear. Their iconic splashy floral Pieni Unikko print comes in an inky blue and orange for autumn. There are also vases in festive red or delicate pink by Swedish glass designer Carina Seth-Andersson.
Our favourite pieces this year will be those we can hang from the branches of our trees, from brushed brass by Skultuna to Skandium's own miniature felt figurines.
Hyggey Christmas!
