The Scandinavian design takeover in London continues with a brand new space in Clerkenwell for Carl Hansen & Søn, the Danish brand which has made a name for itself with slick mid-century designers like Hans J Wegner, Kaare Klint and Poul Kjaerholm on the books.
The three-storey showroom makes use of its lovely historic surroundings in the old printworks for the Evening Standard with exposed red brick matched with contemporary black columns and linear frames. Look out for Scandi treats such as Wegner's iconic Wishbone Chair and Frits Henningsen's Heritage Chair. Denmark's oldest cabinetmakers Rud Rasmussen also find a new home in the Carl Hansen & Søn showroom where classic designs like the Faaborg Chair by Kaare Klint and Poul Kjaerholm's Professor Desk can be found.
Discover what all the fuss is about at this new outlet of Scandinavia's most popular design brand.
