Their pieces will be showcased in the intimate Clore Studio Upstairs, at the same time as the first all-McGregor triple bill (featuring an as yet unnamed new ballet between his Olivier award-winning works Chroma and Carbon Life) takes to the main stage.
Charlotte Edmonds is currently The Royal Ballet’s Young Choreographer. In addition to her work with The Royal Ballet she has choreographed for London Children’s Ballet and Dutch National Ballet’s Junior Company and created variations for the 2015 Genée International Ballet Competition.
Trained at the Royal Ballet School and Rambert School, she was a finalist in the Ninette de Valois Junior Choreographic competition for three consecutive years, and won the Kenneth MacMillan Senior Choreographic Competition twice.
Canadian Robert Binet was a Royal Ballet Choreographic Apprentice from 2011 until 2013, a position that was devised especially for him. He is now Choreographic Associate of the National Ballet of Canada and has choreographed for companies including New York City Ballet and Company Wayne McGregor.
