Live dance brings much needed seasonal cheer to London this Christmas time, with The Nutcracker taking pride of place among a varied offer

The Royal Ballet, The Nutcracker 2020

The Royal Ballet brings back Sir Peter Wright's unmissable production of the Christmas ballet par excellence, The Nutcracker, with some Covid-necessitated modifications, and a brand new battle scene between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King.

English National Ballet, Nutcracker Delights

Different from the Royal Ballet's but just as magical, English National Ballet's Nutcracker has been adapted to our restricted times and retitled as Nutcracker Delights. The show will include some of the work's best loved divertissements, including the dreamy Dance of the Snowflakes

The Little Match Girl, Ballo Arthur Pita

Ballo Arthur Pita's enchanting family show, The Little Match Girl, comes to Sadler's Wells' main stage, after running for seven years in the Lilian Baylis studio. By turns heart-breaking and redemptive, Pita's adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's tale has become a Christmas must.
