Coming to London fresh from its successful run in Australia, Beats on Pointe is an exciting blend of electric entertainment that promises to be more than a dance show.

Theatregoers can look forward to energetic dancing and feel-good music, but the production also boasts freestyle acts, singing, beatboxing and even a smattering of well-timed comedy.

Featuring a multi-talented cast of sixteen dancers, this tightly-choreographed dance theatre offering tells a dynamic modern story that will speak to audience members of all ages.

Ballet and street dance are two exceptionally prominent styles within the dance industry, yet they could not be more different. With Beats on Pointe, audiences should expect to see the best of the two genres individually and combined.

Treating spectators to both classical and contemporary ballet alongside old and new school street dance, the dancers will find a harmonious middle ground through a glorious mash-up of styles.

Beats on Pointe is being brought to us by Melbourne-based commercial dance theatre production company Masters of Choreography. Founded in 2013 by husband and wife team Milo and Jennifer Peric, the company aims to showcase the talents of Australian choreographers while uniting dancers in theatrical extravaganzas that spread the joy of dance.
