On April 25, the Curzon Soho will offer a very special showing of Violette, the French language film from director Martin Provost, which will be accompanied by a Q&A with the talented director.
This film, telling the story of extraordinary feminist writer Violette Leduc, and her relationship with Simone de Beauvoir has been revered by the critics. The cast is full of stars, but it is Provost’s eye for the detail, when picking out specific moments to illustrate Violette’s life, that make this film so exceptional, and attendees will have the enviable opportunity to quiz him on his inspiration and methods.
