This month's classic French cinema films at Ciné Lumière includes 'Un homme et une femme' (includes Q&A with director Claude Lelouch).
The selection of classic French cinema listings at the Ciné Lumière is always a treat – and this month their programme includes the beautiful mystery La vent de la nuit (1999) and the highly experimental La Cicatrice intérieure (1972).
We particularly recommend Un homme et une femme (1966), showing on the 8th of June, as the ultimate date movie, brimming with delicious French romance. The film won two Oscars and a Palme d’Or, and this reincarnation will be followed by a Q&A session with its remarkable director, Claude Lelouch. For other listings, be sure to check out the website, as they regularly update their programme, and tickets can sell out fast.
