Just in case you can't wait till December for the V&A's humongous exhibition on Winnie the Pooh, the classic illustrated books for kids, the Goodbye Christopher Robin movie will be swooping into cinemas this weekend.
The film explores the relationship between A. A. Milne and his son, Christopher Robin, who helped inspire his best-loved creation, Winnie the Pooh, the slothful honey-loving bear.
As Milne makes the move from a successful comedy writer to an even more successful children's writer, the father-son bond is tested by new waves of fans and publicity campaigns for the increasingly popular books (first published over 90 years ago).
Domhnall Gleeson plays the mild-mannered author while his son is played by Will Tilston who, rumour has it, picked up for the role after giving his first audition ever. Featuring alongside is Margot Robbie as Mrs. Milne and Emmy-award winner Kelly MacDonald as Christopher Robin's fiery nanny.
It may just be one of the sweetest honey-hued biopics to come out this autumn.
