Victoria Beckham Beauty Line Launch
VB has launched her eponymous beauty brand, and you can expect the keys to the perfect glow, gloss and smokey eye
This is not Beckham's first brush with beauty. In 2016, and respectively 2017, Estée Lauder launched critically and commercially lauded makeup collaborations with Victoria Beckham. Packaging was sleek, formulas were impressive, and there were a handful of glow inducing, skin-perfecting products that were almost permanently sold out. Now, it's bigger and better.
Victoria Beckham Beauty has launched with a Smokey Eye Wardrobe, which includes three sets in total. 'Eyes are very signature for me,' said Victoria of the initial drop. 'The products may be new, but they’ve been a lifetime in the making. I have always been beauty obsessed, and I want to create beauty solutions that address my customers from head to toe, inside and out. It is all about making my community feel like the very best versions of themselves.'
VB doesn't do things by half measures, and she's truly whetted our appetite for the rest of the launches, which will include Skin and Lips. In terms of accessibility, ethics and diversity, Beckham said, 'For all of you asking, #VBBeauty will be cruelty-free, inclusive for all skin tones, and available at an accessible luxury price-point.'
Below we explore each product in more detail.
Smokey Eye Bricks, £48
Inspired by Victoria’s signature smoky eye, each of these richly pigmented palettes offers a curated selection of shades in a smooth, satin matte finish. Unique pressing technology allows all four shades to live in one sleek brass compact for maximum product in minimal packaging. The shades are Signature (peaches and browns), Tuxedo (pinks and taupe), Tweed (terracotta and bordeaux) and Royal (shades of blue).
Lid Lustre, £28
Lid Lustre adds a layer of life, dimension, and brilliance to your look. Inspired by the healing and protective power of crystals—Victoria surrounds herself with them—each shade is infused with a different crystal for aura-amplifying energy. Striking shades in a wet, pearly finish are tailor-made for buildable, high-shine brilliance. Shades are Blonde (pale crème with a touch of gold), Onyx (deep black with a pearl), Midnight (navy and pearl) and Milk (taupe brown with of silver and gold shimmer).
Satin Kajal Eyeliner, £20
This highly pigmented pencil is key to create Victoria’s perfectly imperfect eyeliner look. The creamy texture glides on easily for an ultra blendable, smudge-friendly application with waterproof staying power. Victoria uses the Bronze shade to line her waterline for a soft, light reflective alternative to a classic black.
'I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in make-up, skincare, fragrance and wellness that I feel I need in my own life,' said Beckham in a statement.
