New Hermès lipstick launch date and everything you need to know
Move over, back-breaking suitcase-sized tote. There’s a budget-friendly Hermès accessory launching: ‘Rouge Hermès, the new lust-worthy lipstick from the luxury label. Here’s everything you need to know…
The hues are based around the brand’s historical prints, silk swatches and leather. There was plenty of inspiration for artistic director Pierre-Alexis Dumas to choose from – think 900 leather shades and 75,000 silks.
You’re going to find yourself the perfect Hermès orange shade to sport on your lips, along with hot pinks, reds, berries and purple hues, all lightly scented with a custom blend from the in-house Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel.
Each photogenic tube is handmade in Italy and comes in lacquered, brushed and polished metals that echo the hardware on the bags, in shades of slick black, white and gold with the occasional flash of limited-edition colour-blocking to liven things up.
They are refillable and sustainable with a no-plastic policy and will come packaged in the signature swoon-worthy Hermès orange box.
It’s undoubtedly going to be the most talked-about accessory in the powder room at Annabel’s.
The Rouge Hermes collection will start at £58 for the lipstick, and £35 per refill, available in selected Hermès stores, Harrods and retail outlets.
