Everything we know about Harrods' H Beauty stores

The famed Harrods Beauty Hall is extending beyond its Knightsbridge address to other parts of the UK via a collection of new stores known as H Beauty. The announcement of the new retail concept comes hot on the heels of the recent opening of their refurbished beauty hall. Complete with magic-mirrors, fire places, immersive experiences, a beauty 'play zone' and treatment rooms, the new space has set a new standard for beauty emporiums around the world.

Harrods has led the way in terms of experiential retail and have capitalised on extra features as a way of keeping abreast with online competition. The H Beauty stores will similarly offer services for hair, facials and makeovers as well as a 'coffee to cocktail bar' to keep their clients hydrated. The hope is that these touches will entice shoppers from behind their screens and back into brick and mortar stores once more.

Essex will be the first recipient of an H Beauty store with a location set to open in spring 2020 in the Lakeside shopping centre, followed by a second location in Milton Keynes. Annalise Fard, Harrods' Director of Beauty, has stated that with H Beauty, the brand hopes to reach new audiences around the UK and show 'the world the art of what is truly possible in the world of beauty today'.
