1) Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch
1980 – A Piece by Pina Bausch
Pina Bausch is one of the most significant choreographers of the last 40 years. This piece, created following the death of her professional and romantic partner Ralf Borzik, is a wistful elegy, dealing with nostalgia, childhood, life and death.

2) Compagnie du Hanneton/James Thierrée
Tabac Rouge

3) Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan
Nine Songs/Rice
Cloud Gate, the first contemporary dance company in any Chinese speaking community, performs Nine Songs, which is based on a series of classical Chinese poems, and Rice, a thought-provoking piece featuring folksongs in Hakka, the oldest existing Chinese dialect, and operatic arias from the West.

The Tempest Replica
Sadler's Wells' newest Associate Artist, Crystal Pite stages this work, which is based on the themes of revenge and forgiveness, and reality and imagination, from Shakespeare's The Tempest.
