The Gagosian Gallery on Britannia Street is the St Pancras arm of American collector Larry Gagosian's mini empire of modern and contemporary art. The first Gagosian Gallery was opened in 1980 in Los Angeles before a second branch sprung up in New York five years later. Larry Gagosian has now opened galleries in seven other cities: San Francisco, London, Paris, Rome, Athens, Geneva, and Hong Kong. There are three in London alone. This fashionable, and spacious, art venue in Kings Cross is off the tourist trail outside the main gallery hub. It has hosted many famous contemporary artists such as Howard Hodgkin and Francesco Clemente, and trendy US and European artists including Cecily Brown. Find the best new events and unique experiences with Culture Whisper’s guide to Gagosian Britannia Street - make the most of London with our food, dance, music, bar, theatre, art and film recommendations!
