From the serene Camden Lock and the cosmopolitan market to central Soho, Camden borough has played host to a lot of famous faces in its time. The National Portrait Gallery has unearthed thirty wonderful photographs from its collection by Kate Peters that celebrate a handful of Camden locals, including Amy Winehouse, Benedict Cumberbatch and Alan Bennett
Peters' four year project with the organisation Creative Connections is designed to engage young people with the National Portrait Gallery collection. In this case, a group of Year 10 students from Haverstock School were the selection committee for the NPG exhibition.
