YBA and Turner Prize nominee (1997) Angela Bulloch is best known for her sculptures which play with light, sound and atmosphere. Fascinated by the crossover between humanity and technology, there's often an anthropomorphic edge to Bulloch's work which examines cybernetics alongside biological and social systems.

Head to Mayfair this spring to catch new sculptures by Angela Bulloch specially designed with a digital imaging program. Stacked columns of polyhedra, corian or MDF dominate the contemporary gallery space which slowly pulsate with a glowing, colourful light. Bulloch has used Brancusi's modernist masterpiece Endless Column as a starting point for her imaginative work and then refracted the sculpture through vector graphics. Fiercely futuristic, these sculptures are very minimal in their stark angles and geometric lines. Look out for the works Anima and Animus - curiously named for the Latin word for soul.
Playing with optical effects and the boundaries of technology, Angela Bulloch's new show is worth a look if you are looking for things to do in central London this May.
Private view: Thursday 30th April, 6 - 8pm
