The Absolut ‘Art Exchange Hub’ at Rivington Shoreditch
New Pop Art pop-up at the Rivington Grill in Shoreditch invites cocktail lovers to get interactive.
Absolut Vodka invites budding artists to one of the most unique cocktail bars in London. They've launched a fun new pop-up concept at the Rivington Grill in Shoreditch, which encourages guests to create their own digital artworks whilst sipping cocktails inspired by Pop Art legend Andy Warhol.
For those seeking slightly unusual things to do in London, look no further. The hub has been specially created to celebrate Absolut's new Warhol edition bottle, which reflects the vodka brand's longstanding collaboration with the iconic artist. Specially loaded iPads are handed to guests on arrival, so they can use the generative art tools to explore their own creativity. Once you've created your digital masterpiece you're then teamed up with another participant, from one of hundreds of international contributors, and your creations are exchanged - these include works by celebrated artists such as Ryder Ripps, and there's even an original Andy Warhol thrown into the mix.
The six specially created cocktails include an 'Espresso Art-tini', which is served in a colourful coffee set with a square Absolut jelly on the side. The hub are also serving up their take on the classic Bloody Mary, the 15 Minutes of Shame, made with Absolut Vodka and served in Warhol's iconic Cambell's soup tin.
A novel idea, the art exchange hub is a great spot to pop down with a friend and explore your creativity, whilst indulging in Absolut's finest. You can also access the exchange online and submit your digital artworks from home: click here to explore the gallery and get creative.
