Affordable Art Fair Battersea, autumn 2022
The Affordable Art Fair returns to Battersea this October – with wallet-friendly original art from £50+
In partnership with The Affordable Art Fair
The Affordable Art Fair Battersea is back, bringing together over 100 galleries from 15 different countries and showcasing thousands of artworks spanning painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media. Visitors can browse and purchase art by graduate rising stars and household names alike, as well as soak up the atmosphere of a buzzing art fair. The brilliance of the fair is that it’s for everyone; with many works available for under £500.
At the autumn fair, visitors can also split the cost of their artworks into 10 interest-free instalments with Own Art. Just ask the gallery you’re interested in buying from if they accept the Own Art scheme, and find them at stand i9.
Arta in Hong Kong, ARTCODE in Mexico and Wolf & Nomad in Miami are among the galleries exhibiting this autumn, along with further names from Canada, France, South Africa and more.

Moving images
The Affordable Art Fair is keeping with the times, embracing the world of digital art and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). A new initiative for 2022, Moving Images offers digital-savvy shoppers a showcase of moving image works from four leading digital artists, Afroscope, Karina Abramova / Las Palmas Doradas Project, Bob Bicknell-Knight and Cecilia Bengolea. Curated by Fair Director Hugo Barclay in collaboration with LiveArt.io, it sees the artists create works around topical themes including the climate crisis, internet culture and body politics. This portion of the Fair is also a chance to learn all about buying and collecting digital artworks, including how these works can be curated in the home.

Recent Graduate Showcase
A returning highlight of the Fair is the Recent Graduate Showcase, which this year has been carefully picked by curator Nephertiti Oboshie Schandorf. This showcase is a great place to snap up some impressive pieces by artists fresh out of art school – and who knows, you might be investing in a future star. This year's exhibition, A Coalescence of Daydreams, sees the artists share their perspective on the concept of ‘home’.
