London gets ready for Anya Hindmarch's Chubby Cloud
Float away on Anya Hindmarch’s Chubby Cloud – aka the world's largest bean bag. Sweet dreams...
After the incredible success of fashion accessories designer Anya Hindmarch's Chubby Hearts in February, comes the second wave of the project: the Chubby Cloud.
Open from 14 September until 16 September, this truly unique experience is part of the celebrations of London Fashion Week 2018. It will be an experiential installation inspired by the cloud motif that adorns the AW18 Chubby Collection. Located in Banqueting House, London, visitors will be able to climb on and sink into the world’s largest bean bag under the only in-situ Rubens painted ceiling in the world.
What's more, events will be going on throughout the three days to accompany your moments of blissful relaxation. Fall into a peaceful slumber with bedtime stories read by Poppy Delevingne and Claudia Winkleman, or be sung to sleep by London Gay Men’s Chorus. If you don’t need the rest and would prefer to stimulate your mind instead, then listen to talks on a myriad of topics, from body image to history, or watch Serpentine Galleries’ Yana Peel in conversation with Marc Quinn and Victoria Sin. Or simply turn up to one of the more general Chubby Cloud Experiences for half an hour of meditation guided by the recording of a surprise guest.
Once your time on the giant bean bag has finished, don’t forget to stop by the Chubby Cloud shop to pick up some pieces of your own from Anya Hindmarch’s Collection, or indulge in some cloud-themed treats at the Chubby Cloud café.
Although this may be the world’s largest bean bag, there are limited spaces. With some events already sold out, be sure to book tickets as soon as possible.
