Rowan Atkinson returns to on ITV as the legendary French detective, Maigret, adapted from the mystery novel by Georges Simenon.
The first in the series, Maigret Sets a Trap aired on ITV on Easter Monday last year before returning for a feature-length film this Christmas Day. And now the very english Rowan Atkinson returns as the detective, a dumpy, plain balding Gallic detective, for the first case in the new series, involving a Jewlish jeweller who was shot at night in his car, and his scandalous Danish brother and sister who live nearby.
