GINGER ICE CUBES
If you are fighting a cold, looking for a heart-warming curry or fiery juice, try these ginger ice cubes. Ginger contains very potent anti-inflammatory compounds called, gingerols. For centuries ginger has been used to treat colds, power up digestion, soothe nausea, improve circulation and help relieve pain. So spice up your life and enjoy the many health benefits of ginger.
You can also make fresh ginger tea by adding one cube to boiled water with a few slices of lemon or lime.
INGREDIENTS
Makes 1 ice cube tray
4 ginger roots
3 to 5 limes or lemon
METHOD
Juice the ginger roots on their own or make a mixture with half ginger juice and half lime juice. Pour the mix into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight. Enjoy
