45 Years

The Falling
Carol Morley's The Falling explores a mysterious fainting epidemic in a rural British girls' school in 1969. Part black comedy, part surreal psychodrama, this strikingly English, understated drama will hold you to the edge of your seat as it teeters on the brink of the supernatural.

The Possibilities Are Endless
With documentary The Possibilities Are Endless, filmmakers James Hall and Edward Lovelace have managed to communicate something of remarkable fragility. The film takes as its subject Scottish musician Edwyn Collins, frontman of Orange Juice, who suffered two catastrophic strokes in quick succession. Eschewing a traditional chronology, the documentary plunges the viewer into Collins’ fragmented re-learning experience.
