Vegetarian: Deliciously Ella Recommended Restaurants
GUEST SPOT: Food blogger and guru of healthy eating Deliciously Ella picks the best vegetarian restaurants in London for Culture Whisper.
Who is Deliciously Ella?
Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably come across Deliciously Ella online, or spotted one of Ella's innumerable magazine appearances since she started writing her blog in 2012.
Having replaced her diet with a regime of pure whole food and natural plants, the then 21-year-old Ella Woodward left conventional medicine in favour of holistic, natural methods to help her address a rare illness with which she was diagnosed in 2011.
Along with constant fatigue came heart palpitations and chronic pain - but Ella's investigative journey into natural recipes and healthy living helped to lessen the unpleasant side-effects she had experienced, and she decided to share her new-found knowledge via her now lauded Deliciously Ella blog.
She's blogged her way to the top, and has already released a best-selling app, as well as her debut Deliciously Ella cookbook, and hosts cooking classes, supper and brunch clubs – she's also training as a naturopathic nutritionist.
Ella's blog offers her readers the best recipes for healthy living – from 'sumptuous desserts' to 'delicious dips' it's all about natural ingredients that leave you feeling great. Click here to order the Deliciously Ella Cookbook.
Now she brings Culture Whisper her pick of the best vegetarian restaurants in London:
Deliciously Ella says...
"London has seen the most amazing expansion of healthy restaurants, cafes and juice bars, which is so exciting. It’s now pretty easy to find cold-pressed, organic juice, kale salads, energy balls, healthy brownies and delicious veggie dinners in central London! I think I’ve tried pretty much every place out there now and seem to be working my way through all their menus too, so I’ve shared all my favourite places and their best dishes below, so that you can get your health fix in London."

Mildred's
Mildred's in Soho is the oldest and probably coolest vegetarian place in London. Carnivores love it and it makes vegetarian food seem really awesome. I love the Sri-Lankan Sweet Potato curry, it’s incredible and I seem to order it every time I go!
Titbits
This is a really easy lunch option. It’s located just off Regent’s Street so it’s really convenient. They have a huge buffet and you fill your place with whatever you fancy and pay by weight – you’ll find lots of really delicious, inventive salads.
The Good Life Eatery
This café is incredibly popular so try going for a slightly early or late lunch to get a table. It’s right by South Ken tube and has fantastic food and amazing juices. I especially love their signature salad with kale, sweet potato, lentils, pomegranates and a tahini/nutritional yeast dressing.
Manna
A great vegetarian restaurant in North London that seems to work well for everyone as it has a lovely interior and makes vegetarian food seem accessible. I always order their nachos to start, which are served with homemade cashew cheese, black beans, guacamole and salsa.
Daylesford Organics
This is a great option if you want something healthy and the person you’re eating with would rather have a burger! They do a great range of seasonal salads and soups and all the ingredients come from their organic farm, so it all tastes very fresh.
