Grosvenor House Royal Afternoon Tea
Toast the Royal Wedding with an elegant afternoon tea inspired by Harry and Meghan at Park Lane's grandest hotel
If you didn't get an invitation to the upcoming Royal wedding, there's still a chance to toast the newly-weds in style. Settle into Mayfair's Grosvenor Hotel for an afternoon of elegant afternoon tea and pink Champagne.
As former home of Duke of Grosvenor, the Park Lane hotel has Royal credentials and a delicious tradition of afternoon tea, which has been served at Grosvenor Hotel since the 1920s.
This May, tradition and innovation combine in 'Anna's Royal afternoon tea', a personalised selection of delectable cakes and sandwiches devised in playful homage to Prince Harry and his bride Meghan Markle.
Alongside tea, Champagne, delicate finger sandwiches, bite-sized brioche buns and buttery scones, executive Pastry Chef Dale DeSimone has created a menu of exquisite pastries - each with a special significance to the happy couple. The Invictus is an exotic combination of ginger curd and passionfruit coulis, while there's a distinct Wast Coast cool to the quinoa clusters and green juice mousse of The LA Special.
There's a nod to the romantic proposal and the brilliance of those three diamonds with The Trilogy, a rich ring of dark, milk and white chocolate. And a light Lemon Myrtle Pavlova was inspired by the frothy blooms of a bridal bouquet.
Served among the fresh flowers and airy light of the newly refurbished Park Room, this is a feast fit for Royal and Famous actresses alike.
Culture Whisper is offering Gold Members a free afternoon tea for two.
